Dated back in 1994, the Pita Maha Resort and Spa was created as a sister hotel of Hotel Tjampuhan to commemorate the birth of the artistic force initiated by Walter Spies and the Prince of Ubud. It was designed by a member of Ubud's Royal Family, a descendant of the founding Prince of "Pita Maha" artistic community. Finally the resort was opening its doors on December 1st, 1995.
Accommodation
The Pita Maha Resort and Spa lives and breathes as an organic Balinese Village, with 24 villas set in traditionally-styled walled compounds which provide the ultimate comfort and privacy. Most of the villas enjoy a private pool and enclosed garden, have two-storey building to accommodate families. All villas are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, private bar and other modern conveniences.
A split-level restaurant which is overlooking to the valley view offers Western and Oriental specialties. An informal warung located alongside the main pool provides snacks and drinks in a relaxed setting.
